Monday December 13th

Tips For Opening Your Sales Prospecting Calls– Laney Pilpel offers some great points as she discusses what’s worked for her when starting a sales prospecting call.   

“…you only have a few seconds to make a connection with your prospect and that you need to have a good opening in advance. Separating yourself from the many sales reps out there is in fact the key, but there are other ways to approach this without sounding as ‘salesy’…”

Tuesday December 14th

5 Examples Of What Makes A Cold Calling Job Better– Another great blog from Craig Ferrara this week. Here he talks about what made his days in cold calling a lot easier and kept him in a positive state of mind.  

“No one is going to dispute that cold calling is a walk in the park. Remember to take step back and recognize what is important to YOU. Every job we work at isn’t going to be perfect but don’t lose sight of the good stuff. Be sure to identify the things that are most important to YOUR happiness. 3 Tips For Sales Prospecting Emails – Chris Lang offers some great insight on what he feels you should do in order to keep your emails from getting deleted!

“I get so many emails everyday that I delete by the end of the first sentence because they sound like they were written by a person with no soul. It is as if some giant brain held in a glass case in a marketing office pushes out a paragraph every week and that paragraph gets put into outlook and sent through cyberspace to 40,000 people at once. It’s amazing to me that anyone makes a sale off of them.”
