Sales Prospecting Perspectives, February 22nd - 26th
Well, we're just about to close the door on another month. Looking back on the start of February, we kicked off our year of "winning" and the folks who work with us made sure that we did so in full force. Our BDR's are uncovering more sales ready opportunities than ever, all because we want our clients to experience more wins than they ever have. We're very thankful for the organizations who've entrusted us with the mission to bring them sales qualified leads, and we're hoping to ride February's successes right on into March and throughout the rest of the year. We're also hoping you're finding the start of 2010 as successful as you'd hoped it would be.
We had four great blog entries this week, and without further adieu, here's the recap:
Monday February 22nd
Who do Your Teleprospectors Call? - Director of Client Operations, Lindsay Roberts, shared a warning to those teleprospecting teams that have too much to call on. Lindsay wrote, "If you have a marketing department that runs numerous campaigns throughout the year it is important to make sure these leads are getting followed-up on in a timely fashion."
Tuesday February 23rd
Increasing Teleprospecting Connect Rates - Craig Ferrara, another one of our Directors, shared a tip about utilizing calendar invites to increase the amount of quality conversations that your teleprospectors have. Craig noted, "..with those numbers staring us in the face, we often ask ourselves 'what else can I do to increase my response rate?' Our answer - send Outlook Invites."
Wednesday February 24th
Business Karma - Our CEO, Paul Alves, recently spent some time in the Berkshires recharging his professional battery. Paul took that opportunity to evaluate his sales philosophy. Of that, Paul wrote, "I have long believed that providing the customer with value above and beyond their expectations through the sales process and beyond is the most important goal. What I thought about a lot this past week was not what, but how we deliver that value."
Thursday February 25th
First Impressions - Jaime Miller, one of our Training and Implementation Managers, related an experience from her college days to teleprospecting. Jaime shared that, "I remember how much the professors stressed that how you can not take back a first impression...I believe this to be the foundation to a successful conversation."
Well there you go - the weekly recap. Which blog entry rang true with you? Which one didn't?
