Richard April, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Richard April

Richard April is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at AG Salesworks. Hired by the company in 2009, he is responsible for all aspects of marketing and sales for AG Salesworks, which includes strategy, demand generation, thought leadership, social media, inbound marketing, and driving corporate revenue. He also provides virtual VP of Marketing services for multiple AG Salesworks clients who choose to outsource that function rather than staff in-house.

Richard's experience as a marketing executive spans over 20 years at start-ups, early stage and established companies in the security, storage, software, networking hardware, and computer industries.  With experience running all facets of global marketing programs, marketing communications, product marketing, social media, branding, market research, channel initiatives, search marketing, email marketing and more, Richard is leveraging this experience to enable AG Salesworks to offer its customers the best in class Marketing Services. Prior to working at AG Salesworks, Richard held VP of Marketing roles at companies including: COPAN Systems (who were an AG Salesworks client), Permessa Corp., Ipswitch, and Cyber-Ark Software (also an AG Salesworks client). 

Richard lives in Westwood, Massachusetts with his wife and two children. He is a native of Montreal, Canada and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. When he’s not at work, Richard is an avid cyclist and skier.
